Sacramento Bridal Fashion

We scouted the Bridal Fashion Week runways to find the trends you need to know. Here's what's going to be hot in 2021.

Get your wishlist ready. Sacramento Wedding Dresses will be über-chic in 2021. From forthy ruffles to romantic sleeves and fun party dresses, The Knot's fashion team hit the ground running to get the scoop on the new styles coming to a bridal salon near you.

This year proved that wedding celebrations aren't all about the dress—but that fashion is more important than ever before. Fashion for the aisle is now ever more focused on personal style and versatility, as the looks brides invest in may end up being considered for a bevy of new events as they postpone, reconfigure, and replan. What was once all about the ceremony look has now become about the wedding wardrobe: from the civil ceremony to the welcome events, rehearsal dinner, reception, and the after-party, along with the aisle.

If you're anxiously awaiting a look at Princess Diana's wedding dress in the next season of The Crown, consider this trend for you. Call it a shoulder duster, ribbon train, or even a new take on a cape, wedding gowns came adorned with long strands of fabric attached at the shoulders in several collections, giving brides a regal option that's lighter on drama than the usual train.

Weddings, like school, work, and restaurant dining, look different than they did a year ago. Celebrations with 300-person guest lists aren’t just unpopular, but, as a result of the pandemic, currently unsafe, too. In their place are “minimonies,” or intimate ceremonies that take place in backyards and on rooftops, and are streamed over Zoom. In turn, the wedding dresses worn for these occasions also look different. Dresses have become relaxed and understated, as opposed to the opulence of the past.
